The future is a wonderful place!
Now that I have this page up, I figure it's time to let you know what I've been up to! I've said a lot on my main page so this will be a bit brief.
Well, for starters, I put this homepage project on the backburner because I was designing it on a piece of shit 486 that kept constantly crashing. I got to the point where I got me a P2/266 and now, I am present. Another delay was caused by my ex-girlfriend who stole all my attention away from everything, even depeche mode! As if! Needless to say, I got my priorities in order :) and got me a homepage I can call my own!
Now that I'm back, I've finally had a chance to grow my collection. I got this huge wall of mode vinyl that's now taking two walls in my room. Pics are soon to come of my now Major DM collection. But one thing that I'm the most happy about is the future, in general.
The future is a wonderful place. You just don't know it yet. Remember when it was only yesterday when the reports and posts were rampant about David's drug problems, suicide, overdose, etc. It was a very chaotic time for those of us who just worship DM for the institution that it is. Fortunately, things turned out for the better. 1997 was a very good year. Our favourite band did so well. ULTRA was a great album with four great single releases. You could just listen to how things have gone for the better in David's new and improved voice, despite all the abuse. And how about that Tonight Show appearance!?!?!

Will 98 be the bomb for DM?
We are getting 2 albums this year! We're getting DM's second greatest hits package (a double CD). Along with that we're also getting a major label tribute to DM: "For the Masses." KICK ASS! And let's not forget...the band are planning to tour this year! For those of you fans that got into a rut with all the tours DM did up to the Devotional tour, this tour will be very special. Alan will be missing, but this tour will not be taken for granted like all the others. So for now, I wish you luck and front row tickets and backstage passes.
